This is an evolution of the internal CBS3 Design website. Adding Okta integration and migrating many of the most useful tools to AWS Cloud Formation, giving every other CBS Owned & Operated station access to many of the same powerful tools.
Data Dashboard
Each station could maintain their own set of data entry tools, easily customized for their specific needs.
Data Integration
Consolidating data from many different sources, I was able to organize weather, stock, election, gas prices, and other data sources into a single place, all available for all other TV stations to integrate into their workflows through API endpoints.
Powerful Data Entry
A feature that is lacking in nearly all other crawl data entry tools is the ability to associate photos with stories. This custom solution allows producers to not only add in the text for their tickers, but also associate photos with the stories. Images can be either uploaded, or chosen from the image library.
Employee Directory
A full featured employee directory makes it easy to search, organize, update, and display the organizations teammate photos.
Integrating data scrapers, data entry, and data endpoints, there are a whole suite of data tools that stations can integrate into their on-air graphics systems. Plus video downloader, remote file importing and management, employee directories, and much more.
