Why not both? My goals are to streamline, optimize, and organize. To that end, I’ve designed several web applications to solve very specific problems.
I specialize in creating data integrations with graphic templates in Chyron and Vertigo, focusing on automation and data scraping.
I’m what would be considered a ‘full stack developer’, building the application database and environment, front end and back end.
I prefer to work with Docker and AWS. I primary create my websites with PHP, but have been adding in more work with Vue.js and React.
I have migrated most of my applications to use AWS Cloud Formation deployed through Docker Compose.

Weather Watchers
With an active network of thousands of viewers submitting their photos and weather observations, this has become a key weather sponsorship opportunity for many stations.
Rolebridge
Project management fully customized to work in the broadcast television environment. Includes scheduling calendar, file upload and management, job creating, project grouping for jobs, and auto creation of codes for snipes.
CBS Live Sync
Integrating data scrapers, data entry, and data endpoints, there are a whole suite of data tools that stations can integrate into their on-air graphics systems.

I built this internal website from the ground up, coding custom tools that are in use across the entire TV station.
Data Integration
Morning LBar
When we wanted to find a way to keep viewers tuned in across station breaks, I developed this L-Bar to provide useful, engaging content and compelling promotional copy.
Odds On
When asked to launch a weekly sports betting show, I created a custom web scraper back end to feed real-time sports betting data directly to our Chyron system.
Nielsen Coverage Map
Taking a truckload of data from Nielsen and created an interactive map used for making strategic decisions on coverage and marketing.
